Arts and crafts is open-ended making—paint, collage, drawing, and mixed media where the goal is exploration as much as a finished piece.

You pull materials, try a technique, layer color and texture, and follow the work where it goes. Mess is part of the process.

Projects range from paintings and collages to handmade cards, classroom crafts, and one-off experiments that don’t fit a single machine.

At Rochester Makerspace, members use shared tables and supplies in the arts and crafts area after any required orientation for the space.
