Code meets hardware

Computing is the software and systems side—writing code, configuring machines, and connecting programs to the physical world.

You draft firmware for a microcontroller, debug a script on a laptop, or stand up the networking and tools a project needs to talk to hardware on the bench.

Typical work includes embedded sketches, data logging, automation, interactive installations, and the glue that makes robots and circuits do what you intended.

At Rochester Makerspace, members write and test code on shared computers and their own machines, often steps away from the electronics and robotics benches.
