Color and light
Stained glass shapes colored glass into windows, panels, and objects that glow when light passes through.
You cut glass, grind edges, wrap or lead the pieces, and solder joints until a design holds as one panel—part craft, part patience.
Makers create suncatchers, lamp panels, window art, and decorative pieces where color and line do the storytelling.
At Rochester Makerspace, members train in the stained glass studio before working with glass, grinders, and soldering tools.
